Veerle van der Wal (double bass) is an up-and-coming talent on the Amsterdam jazz scene. She studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and played bass in top formations of Benjamin Herman, among others.
Creative, quirky and full of fun to play
On Sunday, June 8, Veerle will play with her own trio at De Bakkerswinkel. They perform jazz standards you don’t often hear, putting their own stamp on the music. Creativity and fun are paramount.
