A new band, with new music! After more than a decade of musical chemistry, singer Camille Sledge and keyboardist Bas van Lier have now officially joined forces in a brand new project: SledgeLier. The very first single Lost in Music not only marks a release, it is also the birth of their band!
Debut album: Dance, Dance!
Dance, Dance! is the title of their debut album. It has become a vibrant mix of grooves, soul and funk in which American roots merge with European flair. Or rather: the energy of Sister Sledge meets the jazz-funk of the European underground.

Camille Sledge is the daughter of Debbie Sledge, yes, of the world-famous female vocal group Sister Sledge, who scored disco hits worldwide with We Are Family, He’s the Greatest Dancer and Lost in Music.
With her powerful voice and irresistible stage energy, Camille equally enchants her audience. Bas van Lier, known for his deep jazz, funk and soul sounds, adds his own signature groove. Together they bring a unique sound that sounds both timeless and fresh.
Familiar repertoire in a new look
Original tracks as well as daring adaptations of classics such as Lost in Music and, of course, We Are Family, but with their own twist.
