From blues to jazz: Alex Rossi
Alex Rossi is a versatile harmonica player who developed his own technique and has grown into an internationally acclaimed musician in jazz and blues. At a young age, he performed at festivals and collaborated with leading names in the blues scene. After spending years in the United States and South America, he settled in Europe. Based in Amsterdam, he is active as a performer and recording artist, with projects ranging from blues to jazz and Brazilian repertoire. During Red Light Jazz, Rossi is a regular guest, often performing alongside guitarist David Golek.
Jazz and world music: David Golek
Guitarist and composer David Golek moves effortlessly between jazz and world music. With a background in both classical music and jazz, he has developed a personal style where improvisation, composition, and cultural influences come together. His music incorporates Jewish and Middle Eastern influences, as well as cinematic elements. In addition to his own projects, he is a highly sought-after sideman. At Red Light Jazz, he has formed a long-standing musical duo with Alex Rossi, performing at the festival almost every year.
