USOKU is a project that originated in Amsterdam in 2023. The international diversity of its band members, hailing from Kazakhstan, South Africa, Mexico, France, Tunisia, Italy, and the Netherlands, sets this music group apart and gives it a unique sound.
Each member brings their own cultural influences, musical traditions, and perspectives, blending them into something fresh and unique. Led by trombonist and composer Willy Bcw, the sextet navigates seamlessly through diverse genres, combining acoustic sounds with electronic elements.
From the groovy rhythms of hip-hop to the richness of the jazz vocabulary, and from introspective reflections to contemporary classical music — each piece invites you to contemplate the complexity of existence through the language of music.

The Q Times is Quincy Speelman’s way of capturing and presenting jazz from all eras, mixed with music made for dancing. It’s all about blending jazz tradition with house and repetitive grooves — the richness of the past fused with the energy and sound of today.
