Vanilla Caliente
Caribbean roots and inspiration
Vanilla Caliente was founded by bassist Gabriel Timar. It is a Caribbean-inspired project that explores the golden era of Haitian music from the 1950s and 1960s.
Two sides: Vanilla & Caliente
The band has two distinct sides: the “Vanilla” side, featuring soft, introspective melodies that take listeners into a warm, soulful atmosphere, and the “Caliente” side, with vibrant, horn-driven music that sets the dance floor on fire. Whether performing as a big band or a smaller combo, Vanilla Caliente always brings warmth, energy, and Caribbean grooves to every show.
