Joep Lumeij - Between Blues, Jazz and Theater
Joep Lumeij traveled throughout the Netherlands and Europe with numerous theater and music productions. Blues was his first love. Later he discovered jazz, without forgetting the blues.
Leadership and interplay
For eleven years, Lumeij was the musical director of the Dutch vocal group Deep River Quartet. He also played with the Millennium Jazz Orchestra, with which he performed with many international (jazz) soloists.
