Beiggja ft. Kika Sprangers

In the middle of winter, they gathered in a house just outside Oslo, nestled in a snow-covered forest. The house belonged to drummer Per Oddvar Johansen, known for his recordings on the renowned ECM label. The other musicians were saxophonist Kika Sprangers, pianist Kjetil Mulelid, and bassist Mats Eilertsen, also an ECM recording artist. Surrounded by the clear stillness of the landscape, they began to play. The recordings led to the debut album Morning, which will be released this summer on the Norwegian label Hubro. Now, they continue their story on stage.
