Federica Lorusso

Federica was born in Bari, Italy and from the very beginning of her life, she displayed a strong artistic inclination. Her musical journey commenced as a singer at the age of 12, with the piano as her secondary instrument. In 2014, she initiated her studies in jazz piano at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.

Federica has graced the stage at various international venues and festivals in the Netherlands, such as Jazz in The Gracht, Ujazz, Waddensea Jazz Festival, Bibliotheek of The Hague, Bimhuis, Diligentia Theater, Delft Jazz Festival, and many more. Her performances have also reached Italy, including JazzMi Festival in Milan, Jazz in Andria, Nel Gioco Del Jazz in Bari, and Fano Jazz. She has showcased her talents in Spain, Belgium, and Greece (Athens Jazz Festival).

In 2019, Federica achieved recognition as one of the top 10 finalists in the renowned Italian jazz competition, “Premio Internazionale Massimo Urbani.” Sharing the stage with celebrated artists such as Rachel Gould, Eric Ineke, John Ruocco, Michael Abene, Tineke Postma, Fabrizio Bosso, Giuseppe Bassi, Giovanni Scasciamacchia, and many others, Federica has established herself as a prominent figure in the jazz scene.
