Ruth Geerse is a Dutch singer, composer, pianist, and guitarist. Over the years, she has performed in many different formations—from rock bands to big bands and soul bands—and as a singer-songwriter accompanying herself on piano and guitar. In 2002, Ruth graduated from the Rotterdam Conservatory. Since then, she has performed at events such as the Uitmarkt, the Vondelpark Open Air Theatre, various jazz festivals, and reached the finals of the Grote Prijs van Nederland.

What defines Ruth as a vocalist is her ability to blend many musical styles into a sound of her own. She has soul power and a strong sense of jazz timing.
