Lucas Dorado is a Swiss-Argentinian vibraphonist based in Paris, specializing in jazz and Latin American music. Trained at the Jazz Institute Berlin under David Friedman and holder of a European Jazz Master degree, he has performed across Europe, South America, and Africa, including at the Berlin Philharmonic and New Morning Paris.
Awards and collaborations
Winner of the 1st Jazz Vibraphone Competition (Pescara, 2017) and the audience award at Tonnerre de Jazz (2024), he has collaborated with artists such as Minino Garay, Randy Brecker, and Renaud Garcia-Fons. His debut album El Sueño was released in April 2025. Lucas Dorado currently lives and works in Paris.
