Zenzele is a bassist and composer from Cape Town, and an emerging voice in the European improvisation and jazz scene.
He is currently studying jazz bass at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where he blends traditional South African rhythms—such as kwela, maskandi, and township jive with contemporary influences from jazz, hip-hop, gospel, and house. With energetic live performances and genre-crossing sounds, Zenzele presents his debut album Future Kwela.
