Tribute in a special setting
During the Red Light Jazz Festival, singer Esther van Hees pays tribute to this jazz legend in the intimate setting of Prince Charming. This restaurant is located in Hotel Prins Hendrik, where Chet Baker spent his final night and died in 1988 after falling from a window.
Esther van Hees: a velvety voice
Esther van Hees (1991) is a jazz vocalist known for her deep connection to lyrics and her velvety sound. Dutch newspaper de Volkskrant compared her voice to that of Norah Jones. In 2025, Esther performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival, where she also received the Edison National Vocal Award.
