Cristopher Pérez Quintet (Late night concert)

From Barcelona to Amsterdam

Saxophonist Cristopher Pérez studied at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC), where he completed his jazz saxophone studies under the guidance of leading musicians from the European jazz scene. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Jazz Performance at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

Awards and recognition

Cristopher has received several national and international awards. He won First Prize at Juventudes Musicales de España with his own project, the Cristopher Pérez Quartet, and was part of the second ensemble ever to be awarded in the history of that competition.

He was also named Best Soloist (non-CvA category) at the prestigious Keep an Eye Jazz Award in the Netherlands.

A distinctive musical voice

Cristopher stands out for his personal, expressive, and constantly evolving musical voice, reflected in both his playing and his compositions. He continues to explore new forms and sounds within contemporary jazz.
