Oscar Ployart Quintet is a jazz band that plays old-school swinging, melodic and dreamy music. Inspired by legends like Duke Ellington and Charles Mingus the band draws from both the traditional and the adventurous. The goal is to give audiences a musical experience that will leave them feeling warm and introspective but still bubbling with spirit and life.

Oscar Ployart is a young pianist living in Amsterdam. He grew up on a farm in North Jutland, Denmark and fell in love with music – in particular the irresistible energy and musical dialogue in jazz improvisation. Oscar Ployart plays his own compositions together with the dynamic duo Magnus Austad (drums) and Samuel Kiel (bass) and the sonic headlights Mo van der Does (alt sax) and Ask Moris Rasmussen (tenor sax). Let us fly together!
