All gatherings in the Netherlands, including festivals, have been prohibited until June 1st. This was announced today by Ferdinand Grapperhaus, the Dutch Minister of Justice and Security.
The result of this new government measure to prevent the spread of the corona virus is that we are forced to cancel the Red Light Jazz festival, which was scheduled to take place May 29 – 31.
We fully understand the measure. Health is the number one priority, not only for the visitors but also for the artists and all others involved.
We will look into the possibility of postponing the 7th edition of Red Light Jazz to another weekend later this year.
We wish everyone lots of strength in the time ahead. Be safe!
Team Red Light Jazz
